Model-assisted DoE applied to microalgae processes

This study assesses the performance of model-assisted Design Experiment (mDoE) software toolbox for design two microalgae bioprocesses. The mDoE-toolbox was applied to maximize biomass growth Desmodesmus pseudocommunis in a photobioreactor by varying light intensity and pH Chlorella vulgaris shake flasks, duration. For both case studies, mathematical mechanistic model applied.
